Contact Improvisation as collective process to cultivate (un)-imaginable futures


Shaping Changes is an artistic and research residency that research the body as main focus, and  from the body investigate CHANGE  as a physical, relational and collective phenomenon.

The concept comes from the amazing book Emergent Strategy by adrienne maree brown.

This book will be present during our body research. It will inspire us and we will use it as a collective tool to imagine together.

During the residency, Contact Improvisation will be our main physical practice and a space for research. We will approach the body as a universe informed by sensations, perceptions, habits, cultures, beliefs. We will dance who we are, developing a dialogue to be together, exploring the web of relations that we are creating just because we are living on this planet.
